Be careful telling young students about his deafness. One six year old dissolved in tears and couldn't play Beethoven for another year! I owned this on cassete as a kid and I am so sad to have lost it. I fell asleep to this tape as a kid, and now Beethoven has an almost nostalgic feel about him. We listen to this in the car and my 7 yr old daughter just loves it. It has sparked some interesting conversations.
