The subplot concerning Robert's adult daughters is fairly extraneous (and predictable) but doesn't distract from the tender relationship at the heart of this made-for-TV movie. James Garner & Julie Andrews are the perfect cast. All supporting actors are equally as good. The story line is warm & interesting & will make you want to replay it over again.
